What kind of concealer are you using? Liquid, pencil, etc.?

If you're covering blemishes your concealer should match your skin tone. You should cover your blemishes and THEN apply your foundation.

You can use your fingers, a concealer brush or even a Beauty Blender for even application!

Hi Carly! There is really no wrong way to apply concealer. I put mine on in dots (ie. 3 dots of concealer under one eye) then use my fingers to blend. Some people use sponges or brushes to give them a smooth finish but I find my fingers work just as well. The best tip for applying any concealer is BLEND! There is nothing worse than seeing someone with a harsh make-up line on their jaw or hair line. Try not to cake the product on either. A little goes a long way. That's why I do dots and then blend. I hope this helps answer your question. :)

I do the same thing as Jay-use your fingers and blend.. Helps if you don't rub it just pat it circle wise and it will warm up and blend in well:)

Awesome Carly! Andrea and F F. its good to know others do it the same way. I've heard a lot of people on here talk about brushes for foundation (stippling brushes etc) but I had never heard of that until I got on Beautylish. I'm always willing to try new tips if they work. Has anyone tried their liquid foundation with a brush? Does it make a difference? I love my fingers...they fit my face perfect...lol.
