Split ends and NEVER do my hair. WHY.

So, I've been trying to grow out my hair and it's pretty long, but I want it longer, so I never ever do it, aside from holidays and it still tends to feel dry and dead on the ends and I can't figure out why. Does anyone have tips? Here's a picture you can kind of see how long it is.

Some times hair can feel.that way because its dry or "dead". Using a hair mask will bring moisture back into your hair and for the split ends I would use tresemmes split end remedy line, I have the split end leave in conditioner, that has the blue cap, and it works great, I have fewer split ends and my hair feels really soft, also try suaves almond and shea butter conditioner and shampoo. =)

I've been using argon oil ever sinned I bleached my hair and bleach does so much damage. Ever since I've been using argon oil it's much softer!

I use Avon's Dry End Serum, works wonderfully and it's pretty cheap! I have the same problem!

I agree with all of the above. also, for long term avoidance of split ends, if you brush your hair when it's wet, try not to use a regular brush, instead use a wide toothed comb ans brush it out better later. you said you don't usually style it so this shouldn't be a problem but hair dryers have the potential to roach the ends of your hair.

Just trim your ends. Your hair can be damaged by the sun, wind, and cold temperatures thats why its dry. Use serums and oils in your hair to prevent the ends from being over exposed to the elements and cut off the already dry ones.

I believe its the sun that is causing your split ends. I use a restortive mask of Argan oil from sallys.

Coconut oil works! I use it every day and its natural and protects the hair and helps grow it Take biotin if you don't already and there's many recipes for natural hair growth on the Internet. I'm a natural product freak and it works the best!
