Sephora's birthday gifts. What are your thoughts?

I am actually excited about this one. I wasn't a fan of the fresh lip balm. I thought the smell was nasty. But I can always use travel makeup cause well I travel a lot. :-)

How do you claim your prize? do they mail you it or do you have to go to the store to receive it on your birthday or that month?

Ok so I actually got my birthday gift today when I went and I like the highlighter shade but I think I may use it as an eye shadow instead. It's going to be that product I throw on before going to the beach I think :) I haven't tried the mascara yet but plan on using it tomorrow along with the highlighter as eyeshadow. I'm going to be seeing my boyfriend after 2 months but I'm getting up early and won't want to put on a whole face so hopefully the combo looks good!! lol.

Oh and I completely forgot about asking for the fresh lip balms as the gift instead lol. I was too excited with the 500 point perk Josie Maran set I guess xD

Samantha, you can just go in and ask for it or usually if you give them your beauty insider card when purchasing something they can see that your birthday is coming up and will just give it to you. My birthday isn't until April 9th but the girl ringing me up gave it to me today before I could even ask if I was able to get it or not. If you order something online around the time of your birthday it will give you the option to add it to your cart when you checkout. As far as I know you have to make a purchase to get it mailed to you. Which would be the better option anyway because you would probably have to pay for shipping if you just got it alone mailed to you. If you go to a store and give them your beauty insider card I don't believe you have to make a purchase. I am not 100% sure just because I've always been buying stuff from there around the time of my birthday anyway, whether it be online or in-store lol.
