-Prep slightly damp hair before blowing drying with a treatment spray (Infusium 23 Leave in treatment spray, Walmart $3.50) and a dime sized amount of macadamia nut oil
-After hair is thoroughly blow dried, finish with a blast of cold to seal the hair
- Brush everything out with a round, natural boar bristle brush, ensuring there are no tangles left.
-Starting where your temples are, section off your hair and pin everything above that on the top of your head, and split the unpinned hair on either side of your shoulders
-With your natural boar bristle brush, starting at the roots, back comb LIGHTLY and work towards the back of the head, until desired size. You don't have to backcomb underneath, as this layer will not be seen and will make hair even larger. (try not to knot it, we're just pulling enough back to make bulk)
-Backcomb further down your hair (as far as you like) and when finished on both sides, LIGHTLY sprinkle the volumizing powder (I use Got2B Powder'ful Volumizing Powder, $5 Walmart)
- Let all the pinned hair down and section off hair again starting at the corners where your forehead ends and pin remaining hair up
-Repeat same backcombing steps as before, but before adding powder, backcomb the sections together.
-You can do this but pulling pieces out and comb on sides instead of underneath or on top
-Let remaining hair down, and using a pick comb, give your self a middle part (we do this to ensure even volume on both sides)
-Same steps as before, be sure to blend this layer and the previous layer together as well.
NOTE You can do these steps and add more layers if you like. When I originally started this, I used 5 even sections, but eventually I shortened it to 3. It takes practice and you need to see what works best for you!
-Gently comb hair backwards starting at the crown to create a bump (similar to what's in my picture) and finally dust it with the powder.
-You can use the same pick comb to find your part and separate the locks of hair by pulling the pick through it
-When your hair is parting to your liking, gently fluff up hair with fingers, backcomb your part (mine if off the the side so sometimes one side of the part near the roots is flat) and dust any areas that were not previously dusted.
-Pin bangs back or make a volumized ponytail/bun for a sophisticated style or let it all down for a big flirty party look! Enjoy!
EDIT: just an FYI, these pictures were taken after a 9 hour shift at work and hanging out for a few hours afterwards with friends. It held all day! :D

@ Desiree Oh thank you very much! My main concern was that once people saw how long it was they would become disinterested! I just want to make sure there's enough information that people don't need to ask a whole ton of questions like other posts. Haha :P.

Right!! Well if they're turned off by the length of the post then they don't deserve the information!!:D.
