I have recently bought the naked 2 which I love I also bought a glitz and glam pallet but are singles worth buying and how much are Mac singles?

I have to go with palettes I will admit I hoard eyeshadow palettes and I go crazy over the limited edition ones I only go to Mac for foundation so not sure about the single shadows.

I only buy singles if I'm obsessed with on particular color. Mac singles are 15... Or buy a palette for 50... With way more.

Palettes you get more for your buck!

Singles, they do cost a bit more but you get the colors you want and aren't left with 100 other shadows you won't use. Also they have better chance of being better quality since they are spending time on that color to make it worth the money instead of just sticking low quality shades in a pallet. Don't get me wrong I love palettes but I like the ones with colors that were ment to create a certain look not just 50 random shades put together.

I like small palettes better than big ones or singles.

I agree with Jade, small palettes are my favorite. Singles are nice if you are wanting a specific color, but palettes are cheaper and easier to deal with when traveling or even if you have to do makeup in different room from where you store it. Also, small palettes tend to be made for specific looks.

I'd say singles because you know you will use the color. For example if you go and buy yourself a palette of 50 colors, are you really going to use all them?

If I am going to buy a pallet I check the price of the single eyeshadows first compared to the pallet. If the pallet is say 50 bucks and individual eye shadows are 15 then I make sure there are four eyeshadows at the least I will use. If there are four I know I will use then I buy the pallet cause its cheaper than buying singles. Otherwise I forget it.
