I have very straight thick hair and I really want to tease it but I'm horrible at it :/ I always end up thinking it looks ratty and combing it out. Any tips will be appreciated! :)

If you separate a section to Lay on top of the teasing it won't look as ratty and try to use a round boar bristle brush.

Get a teasing brush and smooth the top layer, should work just fine
