Which style is better?

I can't decide between my two styles. The reason I'm missing my hair now is because of surgery, but it grew on me a little. However, I miss my old hair. It's naturally curly but the natural color is the one from the longer haired picture. The cropped one is really easy in the morning; I don't even have to brush it. The longer one is a little harder to manage but still ridiculously easy compared to most people I know. I don't know what to do! Keep it short and half-shaved kinda or grow it back out? Excuse the weird face in the long haired one.
