Don't use hydrogen peroxide - that's bleach. It will either burn/discolour it. Something gentler like face wipes, or plain white hand soap might help.

Just looked in my Stain Removal book (I know, it's an exciting read!) & they suggest rubbing with Eucalyptus oil & polishing with furniture polish. Good luck!
