Ombre on light hair?

I love the ombre trend and I think it looks so good on long dark hair. I'd love to get it done to my own hair. But my hair is a dark, dirty blonde and it's kind of shoulder length, a little bit on the shorter side. If I had it done I don't know how good it would look. I like the idea of it being subtle and natural but would it be so subtle that it wouldn't even be noticeable?

No, of course it wouldnt be too subtle! my friend has much lighter hair than yours and her ombre looks great! you just need lighter shade of ombre, thats it. and I love ombre on shorter hair best, so I think you should go for it :)
