Always use a leave in conditioner after washing and before applying any hair product. deep condition your hair once every 2 weeks or so. I'm using tresseme's keratin leave-in. garnier fructis also has a good one, anti frizz I believe. and it smells real good. try any of this and see if it works out for you. good luck!! :-)

Mousse is really drying so change that for coconut oil or curl cream & only finger comb when conditioning hair & HAIR MASKS:)

I use Aussie moist three minute miracle when I deep condition my hair, which should be about once a week? I've heard people leaving it in for an hour! Oh, and it smells amazing haha.

Use a shampoo and conditioner without sulfates or silicones. Sulfates (usually found in shampoos) are very drying for already-dry curly hair, and silicones (usually found in conditioners) create build-up on the hair shaft. Nature's Gate is a good brand for sulfate-free/silicone free products. And if your hair is extra-dry, you can skip shampoo altogether and wash your hair using conditioner.

Also... I almost forgot to mention the best hair product I've ever used! Burt's Bees Avocado Pre-Shampoo Treatment. My hair is more wavy than it is curly, but it is still very dry, thick, and somewhat coarse, but this smooths it out wonderfully!

I love spray gel, it is so easy to defrizz my hair, I just spray then twist it then hold it for 10 sec then let go.
