I have quite bad under eye.circles that won't seem to go away. I get around 7 hours of sleep per night. Is that enough? If not, what are some natural home remedies to fix em?

No. to get rid of dark circles you have 2 sleep at least 10 hours. I know it going to suck since its spring break but hey, better beautiful then bitter :)

I have dark circles and while I haven't found any remedies for it I have found that putting cold spoons (I just put them in the fridge) for a few seconds in the morning helps with puffiness and applying your foundation from your nose out under your eyes provides better coverage of circles. Also, white eyeliner in the inner corner s and on your bottom water line can make you look more awake, drawing attention away from the circles. Hope this helps.

Try out garniers anti dark circle roller. It'll concealer under your eyes, brighten and when you apply if it feels cold due to the metal? applicator which will help the blood circulate and help with the overall appearance of dark circles. Hope this helps :]

Cucumbers help with the puffiness. Then if you put a metal spoon in the freezer for 10 minutes or so helps too.

@Hollyann Lemon juice works well for scars as they are on the surface of your skin. I don't recommend putting any acid near or around your eye. Plus dark circles aren't really a surface issue.

The recommended amount of sleep varies according to your age, so if you're in your teens, it's recommended that you get around 9 hours, and if you're an adult, it's recommended that you get 7-8.
There's two types of dark circles. If the dark circles are caused by puffiness casting a "shadow" under your eyes, cucumber slices can help de-puff. Also, drink a LOT of water! At least 64 oz a day. And some fruits and veggies have high water content, so some of your daily water intake can come from those - plus, they're good for you. :-)
If the dark circles are cause by thin skin and visible/broken capillaries, an eye cream containing vitamin K will help heal the blood vessels and take away the dark undertones. Other than that, I think cosmetic procedures that "plump" up the skin in that area is the only other real fix I've heard of for these kinds of dark circles.

I agree with Kelly M. Also STOP rubbing your eye area. The skin around your eye is 4 times thinner than the skin on your face. It's very fragile! Rubbing leads to broken capillaries and micro bruising.

Put some rose water on a cotton ball or square/round and apply it to your eyes for about 3-5 minutes. Rose water is also helpful by being a natural toner! I did this to my mom and it helped her a lot! also get 9-10 hours of sleep daily! hope this helped!

For a temporary solution, apply a yellow based concealer or concealer primer (like Stay Don't Stray by BeneFit) under your concealer. The yellow will cancel out most of the purple color under your eyes. If your circles are more blue, use an orange based concealer.

It's funny you asked this question because I recently went to the pharmacy for my sisters. All you need to do is take a nice hot/warm tea bag ( use a temperature you are comfortable with not one that will hurt you) and lay them Over eyes and under eyes. Not only will this rid the circles, reduce puffiness, but I find it to be very soothing.
Good luck and please follow me.
