Sometimes when I feel like my hair is boring and I can't do anything with it, I just put it in a sock bun! Sock buns look great on every body. :)

Definitely need a good conditioning treatment. Dye you hair a little darker (not too dark!) cut some layers also. and lastly, invest in a good strengthening iron if you don't have one and take your time doing it.
