Naked and naked 2 are very similar, I like the naked 2 palette better personally and for the price I don't really think the basics is worth it. If your able to you should try stila in the light as it is cheaper and just as good.

Basics seems like a good starter at first, but in the long run you get way more if you just get a full set. I personally like the 1st one better, as it has warmer colors that look better on my skin tone. The 2nd one's colors are a bit cooler, so it's really up to which tones look best on you! Try going to Sephora (or another makeup store that has the testers out) and rub a few colors on your hand, then just choose the one you think is most flattering! And of course, at almost every Sephora the employees are super helpful and give you advice on what will work best. Good luck! :)

I personally think that Naked 2 is more versatile, even though I don't like the fact that it doesn't have enough matte shades. I would also suggest looking into Stila In The Light palette and Lorac Pro.

I like the first naked palette they came out with. I just think it depends on your skin tone. I have Naked 2 as well and I don't reach for it as much as the original one.

It depends what kind of look you want. I have all 3 and they are good for different things. I use Naked one on a warmer skin tone and 2 on a cooler skin tone. Naked basics is great bc of the all mattes that are great on any skin tone for a everyday not over dramatic look. I would say if your darker than a MAC NC40 don't get basics bc it will be too light. Naked 1 & 2 are good for any light to dark range.

Oh and Lorac pro palette is even better. Bottom row is shimmer top is all matte wide wide range and you get both and it's like $42.
