So I'm really big into cosmetology and I want to go to hair school. I have a meeting this week with a school but not sure what type of questions to ask them about paying for college does anyone know if beauty schools have scholarships of any sort beside financial aid if so please let me know! Thank you.

Yes I was told if I get training at a salon I was recommended to, I'd get a scholarship for beauty school! Goodluck! :)

Scholarships for cosmo school are hard to come by... but they do in fact offer financial aid!! and most often than not you'll qualify for a bit of grants (which NEVER has to be repaid). it all depends on factors like... are you a parent? a single parent? are you a "minority"? is this your first time attending college or trade school??

I'm Hispanic and the first child in my family to go to college and a mom. I got over $5000 in grants. thats free money that never has to be paid back. it costs on anywhere between $10,000 and $25,000 to go to cosmo school. all depends on the school and where youre located. but trust me... don't think about numbers too much. you can't... CANT!! put a price on doing what you love for a living. its worth every penny! :)

Yes they do offer scholarships, just simply research online. They all have deadlines so be cautious! The tuition can be paid in payments weekly or monthly depending on the school, and financial aid will help cover too (fill out your fafsa!). If either of your parents are in the military ask to use their GI Bill, that'll cover all your tuition. Good luck!
