Just look directly into the camera and give your best natural smile! Make sure your eyes aren't squinting! I'm sure you look beautiful and don't need tips anyway!

I find its much easier to take a picture when you're happy, take the picture in natural light, and slightly tilt your head. A pink lip color is very appealing in a picture :)

I always go for my left side. Plus I've found I look better with my head to the side rather than straight on

First, what you wear can make a big difference! Sometimes patterns can overwhelm you, but always look at shape before pattern. A well fitting jacket with horizontal stripes will make you look better than an ill-fitting black one. Shape trumps pattern! Make sure any colors are complimentary to you AND your surroundings. Too much of one color can make you look bland and make you seem shorter/wider. Try to avoid too much red, black, or white, because cameras on "auto" (without a professional) can have a hard time with these colors. Be careful with makeup, as brighter tones look more intense in photos. Keep your face as matte as possible! Any shine is amplified. Also redness in your face is a no-no. Ideally, take pics in diffused light which won't cast shadows of its own, so you can have more control over shadowing through makeup. Slightly angle your body, and place your gaze slightly above the lens. If you turn your head slightly then it creates the illusion of you looking directly at the viewer no matter what the viewing angle. I hope this helps, I do some modeling and these are tips I have gathered for awhile :) the most important thing to remember is to EXUDE confidence, it will show!:)
