What do you do to take care of your cuticles? I want to take care of mine better, and learn how to trim them. Any advice would be appreciated.

Use a wooden pusher coves in cotton to push the cuticle back. Use cuticle oil to help keep them hydrated. Lotion helps as well.

I am a licensed manicurist, buy some cuticle eraser or cuticle remover cream, let sit on your nails and then push cuticles back with a wooden pusher and nip them with cuticle nippers. Apply cuticle oil to finish it off!

I personally do not think it is a good idea to cut your cuticle ( it's just my opion) there is a risk of infection and I just think it looks bad. I wish more salons would just push the cuticle back and moisturize. I looks better and it has a nicer feel. Once again, I don't mean to be rude or anything. I push mine back and use burst bees cuticle balm once week or so or in between manicures and mine always look good.

I take hair/nail supplement with biotin and horsetail extract. I also drink bone broth for it's high collagen and gelatin content. My nails are usually long and smooth and never need to trim cuticles.
