Very Very Thick Hair.

My hair is so thick so thick shouldn't even be this thick. I got this hair cut last year with tons of layers like, a Joan Jett cut. What can I do to make it thinner don't say a hair cut because it grows back ssoo fast.

You can get your hair thinned out though, And this isn't cutting length from your hair; it's cutting into your hair to thin out the hair, body, &volume you already have. There are many ways they can do this. With a razor or scissors, and that should dramatically help. If you go into a salon and tell them you want your hair completely thinned out, and tell them what you just told us, and they'll be able to help with that! And getting this done should last you at least a few months until you'll probably want it touched up, really all depending on how much hair you have& how much they thin it out! Also in my opinion if you do this go in with your hair dry& styled how you normally would everyday, but with minimal product in it and get it thinned while its dry, because then you can see what it's really going to look like & how much they should take out& you'll be able to see if you want it thinner or not! (some people will want to do it wet, so this is why I'm suggesting this) I think this will really give you what you're looking for! Other than thinning out your hair, You don't have a lot of options other than avoid things that will make your hair look thicker like putting layers in your hair, volumizing any kind of product (even dry shampoos can add body to your hair), wear your hair straight, growing it out long will also thin it out. Also you should try using products for sleek straight hair will help to make the hair look more together and sleek- a good product is the super skinny serum from Paul Mitchell ( and this smells super yummy!!) hope that helps.

Good, I'm glad I could help!! good luck! also you should look for hair cuts that will embrace your thick hair, because it's deff something to be proud of! Try longer styles with minimal layers- if any!, and try to keep the majority of fullness/volume/thickness at the scalp and thin it out more at the ends to create a really cute style! you can also add side bangs that will help balance out the volume of your hair! Keep in mind though,( and I know how hard this is) that everyone wants what they don't have, but if you had thin hair like me- you'd find things you don't like too! You know what I mean? I do wish I had thick hair, and so many companies make so much $$ off me buying every product that creates more volume/thickness! ;) but you have to work with what you have and learn to love/embrace it! :) I'm sure your hair is gorgeous tho so don't be too hard on yourself!!
