Hi I recently just purchased a MAC lipstick and it literally comes of in 1 hour. And I wear lip liner also? So I don't understand?

The trick is, use lip liner as the base for your lips. So basically, apply the lip liner all over your lips. Then apply the lipstick as usual. While this will help with making the lipstick last longer, it will not last all day, as MAC isn't a great lipstick brand. While pricey, YSL, Guerlian, and Givenchy's new lipstick line with leather casing are great lipstick brands!

Try a lip primer.

Unless it's a matte or long lasting lipstick formula it's not going to last all day. Like Kariena said it helps to use lip liner as a base.

I usually exfoliate my lips before applying anything. And as previously stated, use the lip liner as a base before applying the lipstick.
