I'm sort of a tomboy, but I want to be a little more feminine. I usually wear jeans sneakers a tshirt and a hoodie open in the front. My makeup (when I wear any) is very natural looking and I like it that way. My hair is...frustrating. It is shoulder length, really thick, straight/wavy, and usually has half an inch of flyaways on top no matter what products I use to try to fix it. I've been experimenting with hairstyles, and I really like how they look. I want to start wearing my hair this way in school, but I don't know how to phase in my new style. I think that a waterfall braid on the side would be a soft start, but I really want to incorporate french braids too. Anyone have any tips or hairstyles to help me? Pictures would help since I'm just learning.

I used to be the same way. Go out of your comfort zone when you go shopping try on clothes you normally wouldn't. Maybe a tighter style of jean, and a more bouncy shirt. If you have your ears pierced start looking for cute earrings, or if your not into that maybe bracelets. With your hair, try headbands there's tons of different styles these days. Also braids! I LOVE braids. Try a double waterfall braid. :)

Slowly start changing your style. Thts how I was wen I went from punk rocker to hipster/fashionista. First ask your frends bcuz they will b supportive and so you don't catch them off gaurd. Dress casual a couple days a week and sneek I'm some trendy stuff some other days. Its not tht hard just stay confident and b proud(:
