I dyed my hair soft black about a week ago and hated it. Thankfully it faded into a dark brown. My original color before that was a golden brown with gold and tiny black highlights. Any tips on how to fade it more?

You could use blond shampoo that bleeches your hair a little bit...

Every time that I have had a color faux pas and ended up too dark, I have found that the color has faded enough within the first week to not notice (especially with a box dye). Wash your hair a lot with a clarifying shampoo. Also, if you put some all spice mixed with lemon juice in your hair and go out in the sun for a day, you should find that the color will quickly lighten. I wouldn't recommend using any products on it (like coloring it again, etc) because you can really end up damaging your hair.

Yes definitely use some clarifying shampoo (I've heard Heald & Shoulders is a good one also) and you could try a hot oil treatment, it faded my dark brown hair color a lot in couple weeks:) but don't bleach your hair, the color will eventually fade!
