I just brought that new Maybelline dream mousse foundation and I put it on and it made my face go orange. I am positive it is my colour. I asked a friend who is in tafe for beauty and is amazing at makeup if it was a good product and she says its amazing and uses it. I think I might be putting too much on, so how much do you put on or if you know, what am I doing wrong?

I use a sponge at first, and then blend it all in with a powder brush. Maybe get the next lighter colour and try that - you can always use bronzer or blush to add colour if it's a little too pale. I also sweep a bit of powder over my face after to set everything. IF you have a lighter powder it might make your face lighter :)

Hi Jess! Does the foundation match your skin type? Where did you test the foundation to begin with? I'm afraid if you look orange after application that's not really much you can do about it. Have you tried applying it with a foundation brush really blending the product in?

That happens to me when I use it, I use my fingers to heat it up a lot and it sits better on my face then:)
