Sorry my hair is messy in this picture. ANYWAYS, as you can tell, I have long hair. But, I have soooooo many split ends! I get a trim every 2-2 1/2 months. I've tried so many different shampoos/conditioners/products that are supposed to help prevent split ends. I take Biotin for my hair, skin, and nail health. Is there anything more that I could be doing, or anything that I should not be doing, to help minimize my amount of split ends?? Thanks :)

You could try hair serums to hydrate your hair. Or any other extra leave in conditioner. Basically keep your hair hydrated and don't burn it! Also avoid brushing your hair while its wet. Good luck :)

Well that's good to hear because I just invested in some leave in conditioner today! haha :) & yes I never brush my hair when it's wet, I put in some detangling spray and either use a wide tooth comb or just brush it through with my fingers. I never use heat tools on my hair, maybe once every two months at the most, and when I do, I use a heat protectant before. Thanks so much for your help :)

Try some leave in conditioners, also watch your diet. Drink lots of water. What you eat affects your body & hair too!

First: congrats on your heat tool discipline, I never seem to go that long without heat. I have your same problem. Do you color your hair? If you do, try to give your hair a break. Shampoos and conditioners that claim to "repair" split it end won't work though. They might prevent it, but never repair it. So you need to aim for preventing them. Some common tips I've found useful are to use an old t-shirt to dry your hair instead of a towel, don't shampoo every day if you can, and seal your cuticle by rinsing the conditioner with cold water, and when you apply conditioner squeeze the excess water off your hair because it can only take so much moisture and when your hair's soaking wet it won't really be able to absorb much of the conditioner. Remember that conditioning is key to healthy hair so you have to do your best to keep it moisturized:)

Organic coconut oil! It's like a miracle! 3 tbsps of organic coconut oil put it in a microwave safe cup, microwave for 5 seconds, massage into hair/scalp, put your hair in a bun, let it sit for 25 minutes, wash out with shampoo and conditioner. Do this once a week or twice a month! Good luck!  :)
