I like the urban decay 24/7 glide on pencils.

I like MAC fluidline eyeliner. I use the 209 brush to essentially paint it on my lash line. A little spendy, but an amazing product!

Gel/cream liner all the way!

Depends on what you want out of your liner. Liquid has more pigmentation and precision. Pencil has a blendablity and softer look. And gel is really buildable. It also depends on what skill level you are comfortable with. They all take practice but if you go with liquid liner a felt tip is great for starting out with and I would recommend hard candy or milani. For pencils hands down I would recommend urban decay for pigmentation and no tugging. And for gel I would go with cailyn or nars. They all have different finishes too. By the way my best any liner tip for staying power is a 'liner sandwich'. Primer, shadows (if you want them), liner and a top layer of a shadow that is the same color on top of the liner (translucent power works to). Hope this helps. There are a lot of options, though don't limit yourself. I use all different types of liner for different looks.
