It's just getting your name out there, it's difficult, I'm starting out too. Ask for people to subscribe and in return you subscribe to their channel. Help each other. Mine is www.jadelianne.blogspot.com.

Spamming does suck:( but that is seriously the only way we can get atleast a few subscribers:( & sometimes it doesn't even work:/ its not easy! please take a look at my channel and subscribe, but only if you would really want to see more of me and I promise to do the same♥

I'd say to get yourself out there, visit other guru's channels, watch their videos and leave meaningful comments, not generic ones that you post on every video. It might take a lot of work but it's what gets you out there. Also, check out the channel/videos of someone who comments on your video or subscribes to you. Other people's videos might even inspire you to improve your own. There are a lot of great gurus who aren't extremely famous :)
