So I'm going to a sweet 16 and I don't know what to do as far as makeup. On a normal day I just put on mascara. I was thinking of rocking red lipstick, but what should I do with my eyes? Keep in mind that I suck at makeup. A pic of me.

I'd avoid fakery as always. I would prefer a cool red lipstick..mmh and a pearl colour for the eyes.

As a novice, you may find false eyelashes to be too heavy and/or too messy to apply. My advice is to avoid that. But I agree that you should try a light and natural smoky eye and bold lips (maybe a bright pink or peach because spring is here!) I hope this helps :)

A good mascara is a better option is you seek full and defined eyelashes :)
