My hair is kind of long. It's about 3-4 inches past my shoulders. But it's really really thin and hard to do anything with.

Last year I put it up in a bun but I wanted to do something different this year.

I hate to use hair spray, but if it is a must could you provide a good/inexpensive brand that won't make my hair hard and crunchy?

Any ideas? Thanks!
