Hi dolls, ok so I see a lot of girls & women posting up questions about what mascaras to use to get long & thick lashes. I have a couple great tips for you guys. Before you apply mascara, dab a q-tip in a little bit of baby powder & run the q-tips on the tips of the lashes. I used Covergirl's lashblast fusion (in the purple tube) Every single time. I let the first coat dry completely before I coat my lashes in Maybelline's The Falsies volume express. I let it dry and lastly if needed I separate my lashes with a toothpick. But be very careful to not poke your eye out. If you want to see how full & long it looks, just take a look at my pics. Also use water-proof mascara. It's much easier to work with. :) Let me know how it work for you guys.:)

Welcome dolls :) & leanna because the baby powder contains corn starch which will make lashes look very full.

Lolli, the reason why I use baby powder is because it's so much cheaper and if you buy the big bottle it'll last you a full year. Girls literally stop me on the street to ask me how I get my lashes to looker fuller and longer. It'll save you money and make your eyes pop. @Alisha, you're welcome doll:) And Glenda, I haven't tried that mascara but I will definitely give it a try :)

Mariam, I don't have baby powder on hand so would plain corn starch work? If not, I'll buy some baby powder because I can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing! :-)

Hi Stasia :) cornstarch it self is too coarse and if it were to get in your eyes it would irriate and scratch your iris so if you can buy baby powder instead that would be great :)

Mariam my friend taught me to separate my lashes like her using pointy tweezers or a safety pin which I stopped when she poked her eye lol just use my pointy tweezers and works like a charm! I too love my Maybelline falsies!

Another trick is to use the eyelash primer the white mascara as a base and gives you super lush long eyelashes!

I tried corn starch today & it worked ok. I don't layer my mascara tho--it gets clumpy if I use more than one coat. But it worked great with just one coat. Thanks!

Tip #1: How to use a lash comb. For some, lash combs are simply too fussy. But for some makeup artists, they're a great invention and keep lashes glob-free and perfectly separated. So how to use? Apply mascara at the lash base. Then wiggle the lash comb through to the tips of your lashes. Not into the lash comb? Get rid of clumbs without them by removing excess mascara from the wand. Wipe wand on tissue, this eliminates blobs BEFORE you start.

Tip #2: Thin, short brushes are best. A thinner brush allows you to get into the corner of eyes. Short brushes give you more control.

Tip #3: Give a few coats to the edges with eyelash enhancer here http://bit.ly/1wrhKFe by blinking. Blink onto the brush to give ends an extra coat.

Tip #4: Powder under the eye before applying mascara. Sometimes mascara smudges because it's attracted to oily concealer or eye creams.
