I would like to cross dress. I love this app! However for a novice, most of it is WAY over my head! Also I'm red green color blind, which will not help. I have some make up, but it is just overwhelming! Doesn't help that I'm usually broke ether. :(

Start with what you have already, and work with it. If youre on a budget maybe only pace yourself, saving a little at a time and setting your sights on specific goals to save for. Thats all the advice I can come up with, hope it helps!

When I first started getting into makeup, but didn't have the money to just go out and immediately get everything I wanted...I would pick a look or tutorial that I liked each week or month or so, and get everything needed to complete that look. Then once I got that down or when I got paid again, I'd choose a different one and do the same thing and before you know it, you have a nice collection building up. :)

Start with your eyes. Eyeliner is inexpensive and you can do a lot of different looks with a good eyeliner. Just don't put it on your lips.

Thanks to all. To Angel H I know the world will know I will be shopping for women's clothes. Considering I'm working on a book that includes this I'ld say I'm on with it. :)

Invest in some brushes so the makeup you do apply looks good.

I agree with bree about the brushes, and ebay is great to score some brand name makeup for a.good price, and always browse sephora and ulta stores and sites for clearance.

Exfoliate, tone, moisturize! :) take good care of your skin as well. You can get lots of make-up inexpensively , just always wash it off before bed like you're supposed to & take care of your skin :)
