Is it better not to have sunscreen on moisturizer and just on foundation? I like the Algenist moisturizer but it said for am and pm and contained sunscreen and I know it's not good to wear it over night.

Please don't rely on your makeup for adequate SPF protection. In the a.m. use a moisturizer with SPF, and use one without it at night. Dermatologists will tell you that whatever SPF is in your makeup is usually not enough (the exception being a lot of the Asian BB creams which have high SPF and are designed to be used all over your face, but even then this can leave your neck and ears exposed). I wear CeraVe A.M. every day (with SPF 30) under my makeup, and CeraVe P.M. (no SPF) at night after cleansing.

Thanks Jen! I will try that ceraVe as I've heard it being a popular face cream and your skin shows it, it looks great!
