Its ok but its not as good as their bb cream.

I LOVEE this foundation! I used to use the dream matte mousse, and when my skin recently became so dry over winter- I went searching for a new foundation and found this, dream smooth mousse! I purchased it in the shade 110 porcelain/ivory, (although I think the color is more like a creamy natural/beige) but this is my excact skin color which is awesome because you can't really tell what the color really is in the store thru the packaging, and they only have 6-8 shades of it & not very many light colors. I apply this out of the container with my fingers in small dots or stripes on my face and then blend it out with my real techniques expert face brush (@ Ulta for only $8.99 and if you haven't tried this brush I HIGHLY reccomend it, it's amazing) I don't use the sponge it comes with, I feel like it wastes the product and doesn't even give you a good end look/finish. I also use a primer with it, which in my opinion makes this foundation last a lot longer throughout the day&night, the primer I use is Monistat's chafing reflief powder gel - it's a really great moisturizing serum primer with the same excact ingredients at Smashbox's photo finish primer but this one is $5 at walmart. This foundation does take a minute to dry, and the finish is more of a dewy/natural/smooth finish, I set mine with Mac's studio fix powder in Nw35- and I've found the foundation will last longer if you stipple the powder onto your skin instead of just rubbing it in, but that's just my opinion.
The only negative things about this foundation for me are: The size of the container/product is only.49 oz :( also I wish they had more of a color selection/variety, and I don't like that you can't tell what the color is through the packaging in the store. Those are the only downfalls of this product for me. What I love about this foundation: The coverage- It's medium but very buildable which I like because it can look like your not wearing any make up with only one thin coat, and I will normally go over certain spots that need more coverage & this foundation doesn't feel heavy or thick and doesn't look cakey, ever! Another thing I love about this product is that it's very easy and quick to apply, also it doesn't gather in imperfections/creases or cause more attention to dry spots of your skin. This foundation does everything it says it's supposed to do and I would suggest anyone without dry skin might not like it because it is so moisturizing and very, very creamy. This is my new favorite everyday foundation. I am over all soooo pleased with this product, I haven't found any other foundation that works as good on dry skin, it's a great purchase for a drugstore foundation. Also a concealer that goes well with this foundation (you can use it underneath it to brighten and cover under eye bags under your foundation or use it on top, your choice!) is NYX concealer in a jar, it's very thick and creamy and just looks really good and blends well with this foundation. I do wish & hope that maybeline will come out with a matching powder to set this foundation!! Overall, I give this foundation 5 stars & highlyyyy reccomend it, but it would probably depend on your skin if it will work well for you or not!  :)

@Amanda thank you so much! that was such a great thorough review. how long does this usually last with primer? I have dry skin too.

For me it lasts all day and into the night but I either re-do my makeup if I'm going to do something at night or take it off around 7 so like a good 10-12 hours is how long I've worn it. I've actually done my makeup around 11am and wore it all day and accidentally fell asleep with it on and it looked fine the next morning so I think that does say something. I do also use a makeup setting spray called model in a bottle ($13 off of amazon) and I think this does really help keep it so long! It's essentially the equivalent to hairspray for your face!! But I love it and it doesn't ever break me out or anything which is a concern if your skin is sensitive because model in a bottle is scented - but it really works good to hold your makeup all day!! I'm sorry it was so long I just wanted to makesure I went over as much as I could!! :) yeah dry skin is really hard to find a foundation that works right with your skin bc foundations & makeup can be so drying on your skin!! Glad I could help! Xoxo.

@Amanda don't apologize, it's so great I could hear an opinion from someone with the same skin type! I'm going to be picking this foundation up tomorrow, thanks for all your help!

Ohh thank you that's so sweet! I'm glad I could help, I know it was really hard for me to find a good foundation for my dry skin because I like full coverage, but wanting full coverage- most of the time it will look cakey and makes my skin look even worse. So I'm honestly so glad I could help, I really hope you like this foundation as much as me! Also I've tried so many creams and moisturizers that really haven't worked for me, but at night I do coat my skin in bio oil and it helps sooo much- when I wake up the next day, my skin is so soft and the dry patches are gone and it's like fresh new skin. Plus bio oil doesn't stain your sheets&pillowcases like other oils I have used; do- so it's something that If I were you to just look into and try one night and see if it works for you!! Because that product has really helped me tremendously, and dry skin is the worst in my opinion because I think because I'm pregnant that's why my skin is so much more dry than normal- but it's really hard when there's nothing you can do to help moisturize your skin, and get rid of the flaky patches that can make you sooo embarassed!! so If you're skin is like mine I hope that it works for you too!! And again, I'm really glad I could help!! :)
