What are some good nailpolish thinners tht I can find easily, like at the drugstore. and does pure acetone really serve the same purpose because I know nail polish remover with acetone in it isnt recommended.

Yeah any nail polish remover works very well! I only buy nail polish remover with acetone and it works perfectly.
