So I've recently started using a glycolic acid peel for toning and resurfacing purposes. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and can tell me about how long it will be before I start seeing real results. 3 months? 6 months? Its only been about a week so far but I am just curious.

Hi Kara I'm a beauty therapist and do a lot of glycolic peels.. It Depends on your skin and how bad the pigmentation is / how deep it is.. Usually most clients do a set of 6 peels one a fortnight and usually see results after 3 but great results after the 6.

So you're suggesting 6 peels every two weeks? And I am using a coconut oil daily plus a glycolic acid cream. I also use a product containing retinol. My skin is already much smoother and less oily. I am just impatient! Thanks for your advice!
