Has anyone ever tried the Mane n Tail shampoo and conditioner?

I have heard that the mane n tail shampoo and conditioner is supposed to be good for your hair. Has anyone tried it and what do you think about it?

Yes, I tried it before... it made your hair soft and shiny! although, I'm not a horse.lol. but, just curious if it is effective..

Yes I have. I mix a little bit of it with my regular shampoo and my hair looks great afyerwards.

I have tried it (because I heard the same thing)...I really didn't care for the feeling it gave my hair so I never finished the bottle, but my boyfriend likes it! Lol...I thought it weighed my hair down and gave it a weird texture, it's cheap enough that its worth trying out though. I have some girl friends that swear by it and love it.

I've used the shampoo. It's very soft and seemed to make my hair soft and kind of shiny. Over all I think it's great.

I have been using it all my life my mom is a hair stylist/dresser and she recommends it to everybody I always get conlmplemets on my hair and how smooth alit is and stuff lol

I really wouldn't recommend this... It's very harsh on your hair... It's made for horses for Pete sake!! Humans by no mean have hair like horses. I am a licensed cosmetologist and I get asked about this product all the time so I thought what the hay.. Pun intended... I'll try it. So I tried it and after about 3 times of using it my hair had gotten so dry and brittle I had to go get it trimmed!! I would always recommend a product if I loved it regardless of where I got it or the price. But this is not good stuff and definitely not something I'd ever let someone use.. I don't even use it on my brothers dog!!
