I've been wanting to dye my hair for such a long time now but I don't know how to approach it. I have thick, long and dark hair and I'm looking for a dark brown and maybe even warm brown but I don't know if I should go to the salon or drug store dyes like garnier. I'm afraid in store dyes will make much of a difference here's a pic for a better idea :) thanks.

Since your hairs dark and you're going lighter you should definitely go to the salon!
