How do I get rid of blemishes on my face?

My skin isn't that bad, but no matter what foundation and concealer I try it never completely covers the red blotches. And I would like to wear the most minimal foundation as possible because even the lightest shade of any brand will look orange. Picture white in your mind, that is my skin. I'm not like a fair girl who has rosy white skin, it's literally white!
