Curling Hair Help?

I have really thick, wavy hair. I really would like to curl it for my confirmation tomorrow, but it is nearly impossible. Any tips? Thanks!

Hey! I'm making my confirmation next month! Where are you from? Anyway I'm just curling it with a wand so if you can find someone that has one the curls turn out really nice. You could also use a straightener I've heard that if you wind it around it works!
