Just get a box dye in whatever colour you like, cause it's already so light it'll work well =] Make sure you follow the instructions though and don't leave it on too long =] also if you wash your hair with baby shampoo first, it balances the ph level and makes the colour take better =]

First of all. I wouldn't go buy a box color. I'm right up there with ya hun with the platinum blonde, except I want mine whiter almost silver. Anyway. I'd go to a professional. Coming from a professionals view (I do hair), if you decide to break up the blonde with another color you're going to need a filler. Meaning if you go buy box color you're going to need ANOTHER color to have it take. You can wash all you want with baby shampoo too cause that won't work. Because your hair literally has no pigment you'll need another color to process it and for it to take to your hair. But if you decide to buy box that's up to you. I personally wouldn't and don't. Box color is fucking disgusting (pardon my trucker mouth).

Lisa w. I feel your pain lol!! People just don't ever understand how complicated hair coloring is. That's why we spend all our money and time devoting ourselves to our careers.. Idk why people get the notion that we are out to get their money because you wouldn't by any means perform your own surgery!! You are absolutely right! Box color is trash!! She will never achieve the color she wants by a box color or doing it herself. I'd highly recommend you seek out professional help because otherwise you are going to put yourself in quite the predicament... You have little to no pigment in your hair so one it won't hold color and two you certainly won't get the color of the picture on the box. Trust both of us when we say to go to a salon.. We only want to help and I'd never offer or suggest anything that I truly didn't believe.
