P.S.depending on your budget, it is worth it to get real leather, since it will stretch out a bit once you've worn it and ultimately be a better fit.

One last thing, haha, I would suggest a classic pumo, no higher than 2 inches. You could gonfor an almond toe or pointed toe, as long as it's not TOO pointed. I don't know what you're wearing, but if you're doing pops of colour, you could ground it with your shoes and do a black pump -patent leather if you want too!

I would never wear an open toe shoe for a job interview unless the job was for a store that sold open toe shoes exclusively... Not likely, lol. It's one thing to be trendy (although it depends on the job...) And I would personally lean towards professional over trendy no matter what. A big key to getting a job is knowing the employer! you will stand out from any other interviewees if you understand what the company is aabout and want to work with them (not just get a job any where that will take you!) Stop in a few days before and check out what everyone else is wearing, then dress one level more professional than that.
Try looking at it as you are interviewing them and possibly offering your talents and time. Sooooooooo, dress the part that you are a valuable!

I wouldn't do strappy unless it is a very classic T-strap. You could maybe do an open toe IF it's a peep toe. Depends again on the type of job, the rest of the outfit, and the climate where you are right now. It's better if you just stick with a classic pump though, just to be safe.
