Hi ladies I was wondering if anyone knew of a liquid foundation that won't clog my pores or make my acne worse? I currently use bare minerals powder foundation because I know mineral makeup is said to not irritate acne but I'm not getting good coverage with it.

First I highly suggest a primer that is oil free it acts as a barrier between your face and your makeup.high end I would suggest smashbox oil free face primer it is around 40 dollars but it last forever, or you can buy any from the drugstore that is less expensive, I suggest revlon photoready primer it is less than 10 dollars. I would suggest for foundation one that is not to thick but gives high coverage like makeup forever hd foundation, naked skin by urban decay, or covegirls newest 3 in one foundation which includes primer inside the foundation. Also laura mercier tinted moisturizer is good.

Bare Minerals is a horrible acne irritant! A lot of their products have cornstarch in them. Cornstarch feeds acne bacteria! I suggest trying Tarte because it's an all natural brand. They don't put things like alcohol and mineral oil in their foundations. Cream foundations also work very well because they're more pigment than product fillers. I use RCMA and Mehron. You can find them on cinemasecrets.com. Also, controlling your oil production will help a lot. Milk of Magnesia under your primer and foundation with help absorb the oil and calm redness in the skin.
