I use becca skin perfecting as well. I like it cuz it feels like moisturizer and sinks into my skin. Then when I want shimmer I add becca skin perfector to highlight.

The best shimmer primer in my opinion is the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer.

By skin tone do you mean skin tone perfecting? If that's the case the Smashboxes purple primer wins awards every year. Just make sure the base ingredient in your primer matches your foundation.

For instance don't youse a silicone based primer with a water based foundation. The finish won't be right and you'll hate it.  Lol

I also use the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer, it's great for dry skin and doesn't feel like silicone. I can tell when I skip it - so I know it's a must have for me.
