Colored mascara, hit or miss?

So lately I've been very interested in colored mascara. I am a mascara addict, but am a bit hesitant to buy any colored mascara. If you have bought some, what are you thoughts on it? Should I but some, or just save the cash?

Save your money, if you want color use a colored eyeliner. The mascara doesn't look good in colors, it just looks cheap and clumpy in my opinion. But I guess if you were really interested, try it out.

I just recently bought some blue mascara. its amazing and fun. I think you should buy some. just make sure you get a brand that will work good with your eye lash color. :)

I have blue purple and glitter! It adds a lot if fun to your look and I like to keep the rest if my makeup really simple then add the colored mascara and its really cute! Totally worth your money

Maybe you should buy a cheap one first and then try a recommend one if you like the way it looks.

It depends on your eye colour. Cover girl used to have slightly tinted mascara in their lash blast line. They might be our but I found they really brightened up my eyes (I used the purple one and I have green eyes)
