Almost summer! what is your everyday summer makeup routine?

It sure is warming up! well at least where I live. personally I hate caking on makeup during the hot months. once summer is around the corner I swap my normal makeup routine for something more light and quick! anyone else out there summering up their makeup routines? if so, I want to know!

I love physicians formula healthy wear spf 50 powder foundation. It's medium to light coverage though, but great reviews on ewg.com on the safety of this product.

@ella I recently found that brand in the supermarket, and it was so cheap, I bought it with nothing to lose! It turned out to be a pretty good product! But they didn't have a huge selection where do you buy it?!

Last summer I had to go to work around 5 and work until basically midnight. I had to be presentable (hostessing, joy), so I would usually do a mixture of oil-free moisturizer and foundation topped with powder so I didn't get oily, some blush, and then usually eyeliner and mascara. If it was a nice night (re: not too hot or muggy out) I'd do some eyeshadow, or sometimes I'd add a pop of lipstick. I didn't get a lot of time for touch ups, so I needed to be able to know my makeup would stay in place haha.

During the summer I will rotate between a light dusting of mineral powder or a bb cream. And I make my lips the focal point instead of focusing so much on the eyes. The FL weather is brutal on eye looks in the summer.

I think I'll use the new Revlon Nearly Naked pressed powder. It's light weight and smooth and I'll probably just wear an eyeliner and bold lip colors.
