Vitamin E Oil For Hair?

Can you use vitamin e oil in your hair? I usually use argon oil in my sea salt spray But I saw online that someone used vitamin e oil. Since I'm almost out of argon oil and my spray it would be easier than having to go out and get more.

Vitamin E is VERY thick and sticky. I only use it on my skin. I would recommend coconut oil if you don't want to use argon.
