Ok so I usually apply black retractable eyeliner to my water and tight line, but lately it's been running and smudging. How do I stop it from doing that?

Set it with powder even in your waterline. Just use a thin brush.

Yes I agree with Mary! But I sometimes don't like that because if I accidentally apply too much, I get clumps of black powder floating around my eye. Which looks more ridiculous than it is uncomfortable. :-P but also try using a gel liner and a small angle brush. I recommend maybelline's eye studio in blackest black
