Okay, so my 8th grade formal Is coming sometime soon. I already had this GORGEOUS dress picked out. But one of the freshmen who went to it last year explained that the girls really just wear skirts and boys are in khakis or jeans. So now I just need something along the lines of 'sunday Best'. I really don't know/have anything to wear. I'm thinking maybe lacy skirt, but I don't know. PLEASE HELP. I look best in Navy Blue or dusty rose.

Try combining the two colors. Like a navy blue lacey skirt and a dusty rose colored flowy blouse tucked into the skirt and some low wedge sandals :) I hope this helped.

Oh and matbe add a skinny black belt too around the waist band of the skirt :)

I went to my social and people said the same thing about Sunday best its actually more formal than that wear the dress you already picked out for it

It's a hand me down from my sister, but it's really pretty and has gorgeous sparkles that don't show up well in the picture.

Haha my school is having a 8th grade formal too :)
Dresses that most of us are choosing just seem to be short dresses that come up to the knee or a bit higher.
