I've been so oily lately!! Even Matte foundations then oily within a few hours. Either I'm dry or oily. Ugh.

What products are you using? I'm usually oily too, but I've noticed if I use an astringent and translucent matte powder then I stay not oily for most of the day. If the astringent/powder combo dries you out, I use Aveeno moisturiser for dry skin. I'm sorry my advice isnt professional, but its just what I do. Its trial and error for me, if all else fails just use a blotting sheet or paper towel when you notice you get oily in the day. I'm sorry I can't help much chica! Good luck, I hope you find a solution that works for you soon! :)

What's your skincare routine?

Skincare is really important, are you using a good moisturizer? I have oily skin too, and it's a struggle sometimes for me. Most of the remedies I've found have a lot to do with skincare, what are you using?

Try Avene Emulsion lotion :) it's really good, I always apply it before a foundation and I'm not oily for the day!

I use acne.org facial cleanser. I recently started using my witch hazel again, finishing up my olay complete all day moisture cream (not moisturizer- but the cream that comes in a jar- it is a bit heavier and I got it when my skin was dryer) with sunscreen SPF 15, jojoba oil for moisturizing around my eyes. Been using Kat Von D Lock it Tattoo foundation and I still can't stay matte!! I also did start using my Clarasonic once a day at night.

Try keeping skin moisturized even when oily, sounds counterproductive but face usually produces more oil when it needs moisture(that's been my experience)

This post will be long but I‘m going to tell you my routine that took my face from a friggin oil slick to perfeclt balanced, with makeup (all walmart brands by the way) that stays put.
I rinse with cold water in the morning (no soap) and apply my moisturizer (spectro jel for combo. skin) I then use Hard candy primer and Maybelline fit me foundation then the rest of my makeup.
At night I remove my makeup with reg. Dove soap, then I use the spectro jel blemish prone skin cleanser. After my skin is dry and clean, the main thing here is I apply macademia nut oil (do some research, its awesome or send me a note I‘ll explain further). I rub it all over my face, let it sink in then I apply the same moisturizer I used in the morning.
Give this routine a try. I spend minimal $$$ on my moisturizing routine and since it‘s so effective, my balanced face can handle so many different kinds of makeup that my old acne filled super oily face couldn‘t handle before.

Your skin is oily because inside of it is dry. your face is compensating by over producing oil. When you moisturize like how I mentioned, I guaruntee within the month your skin will be perfectly balanced, oil free, and glowing, and you can wear all types of brands of makeup without wasting $$$ on setting sprays and all thatt useless stuff.

My skin is usually the oiliest when I am not drinking enough water and not exfoliating regularly.

Have you tried blotting sheets?! They work really well for me.

You might be using too many products.
Try limiting to three things.

I totally understand. I don't know if it's me going from one extreme climate to the next but my face (especially my lids) has been super oily. I use all no oil/oil control products and I still come out looking like a grease ball. All the "hyped" eye primers don't even work for me. :(
