I've been dealing with acne on my cheeks and chin since I was 12. Now I'm 17 and I want it to just go away. When my period comes it gets worse and annoying. I have dry skin on my forehead and the outer areas of my face near my ears, and my cheeks, chin, and nose have acne. They are oily areas. What should I do?

I used proactive and I say it works but you have to keep up with it for at least two months straight and use it day and night and exfoliate at least 3 times a week. also birth control helps control acne if you don't want to be on birth control you should visit a dermatologist and he can prescribe you pills that helps control acne or even a gel to put on your face at night. also you should visit this website it's amazing they have so many skincare tips for acne and many home remedies if you don't wish to spend money:
www.acneskinsite.com hopes this helps!

Noooooooooooo. It makes everything worse, if you skip a day your face will look like it was attacked by bees. It doesn't even help to begin with though.

Proactive didn't do anything me.
Then my doctor prescribed me this gel and you have to put a very thin layer on or else it dries out your skin. which was great for me because I have super oily skin.
but I also use neutrogena in the blue bottle that supposed to detoxify your face and that has helped also.
