Awww thanks babe!! that means a lot! What kind of red do you want? A red with a cool or warm undertone? a pinky red or blue red? It's funny I can pick out other colors for people but not for myself lol I haven't ever had the balls to pull off a red lip yet...I'm going to look thru some colors and find one I like for you so hold on :)

Lol it's all good girl! I found a few colors I really like for you..
Mac's ruby woo (this is a great go to red color that is versatile for differnt skin tones and depending on what gloss you use with it you can add more pinky fuscia tones or just keep it the way it is)
maybeline moisture extreme lipstick in cranberry
loreal color riche lipstick in red rhapsody
maybeline color sensetional jewels lipstick in rubylicious
mac scarlet ibis (this is more of a coral red color)
NYX lipstick in chic red
chanel dragon rougue allure laquer (such a gorgeous true bright red color, and so shiny and glossy, expensive but the color payoff is gorgeous!!)

Two more colors I really liked for you----
Also, this color is a purple fuscia color, but it's sooo gorgeous that I had to tell you because it would look sooo good on you, it's by Mac it's called Rebel - it's part of the mac me over lipsticks and omg...seriously gorgeous!!
And Mac's Prince Noir lipstick- this is a plum deep cherry color, it's a dark almost blood red/purple ish I don't know how to describe it, but it's soooo pretty and would look so good on your skin tone.

So I got my nude already (the one you suggested) but I couldn't find the maybelline one :/ I found one that resembles prince noir for maybelline so I'm going to give it a go and if I like it, I'm going to get mac's because that color is gorgeous!

Did you get revlons nude attitude? If so, I loveeee that lipstick it's sooo amazing for drugstore quality! I also really love kate moss's new line for Rimmel matte lipsticks she has some good colors too but they're very selected at stores, the color I have is 113 and it's a really nice nude too which I think was 3.99 and it's gorgeous. You couldn't find the maybeline cranberry- the red one? Did you look thru revlons line for red colors that you'd like? I prefer revlon for drugstore I personally think it's the highest quality brand..but sometimes that's not always the case. Omg yay!! I'm excited!! Deff show me a picture when you do your makeup all done up with the one that looks like prince noir! You should do a sexy smultry winged/thick liner (like they did in the 60's or marilyn monroe did)because if you do a smokey eye with that lip color it can look like too much or make you look goth even you know what I mean?? I just think a good thick liner on the top with just mascara on the bottom and top it will look gorgeous and your lips will be the center of attention while your eyes are still defined and gorgeous!! I'm really soo happy you got that color!! haha I'm sooo lame for getting so excited but I know it's going to look gorg on you! :)

So I freaking loooooove nude attitude! Thank you soooo much! great choice! I have yet to try the other two I got :) trying them tomorrow since I was out and about all day today :) I saw those! (the Kate Moss ones) but you're right that they are VERY selected. The KM colors all looked so pretty though! I agree with you that revlon lipsticks are pretty much the best drugstore lippys...I'm not a big fan if covergirl if anything but I like maybelline, l'oreal, and revlon :) I haven't tried rimmel in forever!

I couldn't find any of the maybelline ones! :( I am going to walmart tomorrow so maybe I'll find them there :)

I am so glad that you think a lot like me! lol I think that if you go big on eyes you should be subtle on lips and vice versa! Otherwise it might be too much going on! No you're not lame at all girl! I am the exact same way! thanks loads! will post pics of the results!

Ooooh, I LOVE those colors! I really do! I'm really glad I could help I know how hard it is to find the drugstore ones when (and I love revlon and I know why they do it for cleanliness/safety-stealing reasons) but they're all covered in plastic which is nice bc you know no one tried them or anything BUT it freaking sucks when you want to open and roll them all the way up to make sure the color matches because most of the time it doesn't it's usually darker than the label and sometimes is sparkly (which I personally hate in pink lipsticks) I love matte and satin finish lipsticks way better, which revlon is one of the only brands that marks the finish on the label and usually offers a selection of finishes for one color. Yesterday I picked up a revlon lipstick called pink pout and it's a really pretty everyday mauvey dark pink color (I'll post a picture) and I hate not being able to swatch the drugstore lippies :( but owell

This is the best picture I could find for the pink pout but It's only a tiny bit different in person I think there's more color pay off in them now hers looks very sheer but you get the jist of what it looks like - this is my first mauve, I'm not really into them bc I feel like they look weird with my blonde hair and can make you look a lot older if you don't do it in the right way, but I finally got it, and it looks pretty on me so I'm glad I did :) It'll probably look better on you with your brown hair, just sayinn though! lol but anyways, yeah I don't understand why cosmetic companys do that now a days why don't they have more popular color for us women who aren't girls but aren't grandmas either? I feel like the lipstick market is not demegraphed to us, but this is why!! And also you know what irritates me about loreal? I'm not a big fan of them because every lipstick I keep getting from them is soooo gorgeous but comes out completely sheer with very minimal color payoff it's like a chapstick basically it erks my nerves so bad Its such a waste (and I always take them back bc the store will just send them back to the manufacturer just so you know if you don't ever like something) but I'll show you a picture of the lipstick line I bought from and it's terribleee uggh I was sooo dissapointed, and I saw yesterday they just came out with an easter/spring line of really pretty blues/purples/pastel pinks/etc.and I know they won't be that color so I'm not even going to waste my money!!

I was going to tell you if you can't find the maybeline at wallmart I would try drugstores I always go to wallgreens or cvs bc they're usually buy one get one half off and they're selection is better than wallymart - but you can also go to Ulta because they will have the complete line for everything the selection for drugstore is insane there rather than the drugstores!
I actually was really impressed by rimmel lipsticks too, I got my first one a few months ago and I love it, I really love the kate moss selection they are all matte first off which is sooo amazing but they're not drying like some matte finishes can be, and the color payoff is sooo good! I was at cvs yesterday and saw one of her lipsticks that was a dark tan/nude color for you and was going to tell you about it, I think it's this one:

I have this tan one but that red color is gorgeous! The tan one is 113 they're all numbers not shades/colors/names so I don't know what the red one is but it's supaa pretty- the tan one is a little lighter than nude attitude but you could always layer them or use the 113 under a darker gloss if you wanted. I love it for my everyday nude lip it's my favorite nude lipstick so far.
Although I need to update my collection, I'm going to go on a shopping spree at MAC soon they're having a beauty expo in a few weekends so I think I'm just going to pick up some stuff then! I mean there lipsticks are $15 and such good quality and will last you forever litterally forever because you don't need as much bc they're so pigmented!

(from left to right: infa-red, pop of cherry, and orange edge) I think all three of these would work for you, my favorites are the pop of cherry (middle one- sooo pretty) and the last one, the coral red color you might not like becuase it's so bright (some people don't like reds like that) but I think it'd be so gorgeous with your skin tone and will make your lips look so pouty and sultry- deff the center of attention!! I like the more coral reds for paler skin tones rather than the blood red color although they will all really work for you honestly!

Also if you can't find those maybelines try looking into rimmel's Kate's lipsticks have a lot of pretty reds actually that's all they had at my the store yesterday, and the color shade 01 is her signature red and it's really pretty here's that one:

and I've noticed there are two kinds the black tube which is a satin finish or the red tube which is a matte finish (at least I think that's the difference?) but anyways, if your store only has the red ones like mine does, here's a good color for you, shade 110 and shade 107 I think they're both gorgeous but my favorite is 107 from what I can tell it's more of a true red although 110 I've swatched on my arm in the store and I really like it too but it's more a coral/pink/fuscia undertoned red, so that's up to you on personal prefrence!
