Blonde would be lovely but just consider the money and time you would have to put into your hair :) I'm blonde myself and I have dip dyed ends blonder so it's very manageably and cheap so before you try it keep that in mind :) but other than that I think it would look great, go for it :D.

If your unsure of wether you want dark or light hair always go light becuase once you go dark going light is very challenging and will damage your hair extensively but going dark after going light isnt too bad :)
