I'm 17 and I'm very interested in makeup. I want to learn so much about it and have fun. What do you Advise? Any books? Where do I start from?

Youtube. A good place to start is MakeupGeekTV. She's a makeup artist but also teaches makeup. You can watch her videos as she explains everything from beginner makeup to advanced looks. Look for her older videos first because that's where most of her beginner makeup tips and looks are at. Also you can watch other videos and look at makeup in the magazines. Practice and try recreating the looks. If it doesn't come out right the first time, that's ok. Just try again untill you achieved the look. You'll get it. It just takes some practice. Also remember that you can watch anyones' makeup tutorials, then take their look and techniques and adjust it to fit your skin tone and complextion.

YouTube is absolutely the best source for makeup tips. It's free and thorough, and much more personal than a class. Not to mention, you can rewind whatever you need a redo on!
